Who We Are

We are a manufacturer that was established in 2019 that has evolved from a 3,200 square foot prototyping shop into an 1,800 square foot flexible automation milling cell.

Our main specialty is CNC milling work. With a healthy array of different machine centers we can accommodate just about anything.

Whether it’s a 1-piece prototype or a 10,000+ production run we are equipped to deliver high quality, precise, and on schedule.

We’re also uniquely positioned to work closely with our clients to ensure superior products, at competitive prices and often with significantly faster turnaround times.

We’re comfortable working in any industry, with the majority of our clients coming from the optical and defense industries. We also recognize the importance of discretion. When it comes to your proprietary designs and ideas, you can rest assured that your work is safe with us.

What We Do

Elemental Machining provides custom machining services on a wide variety of materials, including carbon steel, aluminum, copper-based alloys, stainless steel, plastics, and other hard to machine materials.

The Prototyping Department runs four CNC mills, one CNC lathe, and a Ziess Contura for quality assurance. We don’t only rely on subtractive manufacturing, our fabrication room is equipped to weld and cut just about anything.

The Automation Department is built-out with five identical Haas VF-22’s all equipped with Automation Within Reach’s Load & Go cells. One of the main advantages of these Load & Go cells is job changeover is so quick and repeatable. Once the job is set up and proven all that’s needed is a steady stream of material. With these automatic part loaders and the skill set of our team we can achieve 20-22 hours of run time on 5 machining centers making monthly deliveries of high quality and quantity achievable.

In addition to machining, we also offer assembly of finished parts, a variety of finish options, as well as protective packaging solutions.

Machine Centers

  • 5x Haas VF-22yt equipped with AWR’s VBX-160 Load & Go cells.
  • 50 taper vertical mill with 64 x 40 x 30 inches of travel.
  • Two 3 axis mills with high acceleration rates and fast rapids.
  • 5th axis mill with 34 inches of part swing and a 50+1 tool changer.
  • Y axis lathe with an 8-inch chuck, bar feeder, and sub spindle.

Design/Fabrication

  • 3D printer with a spacious build volume of 13 x 9.4 x 11.8 inches.
  • Reverse engineering into Solid model.
  • Stainless steel, aluminum, and all carbon steel TIG welding.
  • Plasma Cutter & MIG Welder.
  • Dual Column Production Bandsaw.

Finishing

  • Subcontracted anodization.
  • Vibratory Tumbler.
  • Tools to clean and assemble finished products.
  • Powder coating and Cerakote ceramic coating options.
  • Heat treat oven for small batch runs.
